Modified Module 2 Information

An alternative Module 2 curriculum has been created to accommodate transfer and upper-year students. First-year Applied Science students are not eligible to participate in this modified module. Students who are repeating Module 2 for any reason are also not eligible.

The modified Module 2 will be held in Winter Term only, in starting in March 9 at 7pm. Due to students' prior physics and chemistry background, the content will be changed with the goal of limiting instruction and experimentation to the design elements that did not form a part of regular chemistry and physics courses. It should be noted, however, that some overlap may occur.

Check the evenings carefully to make sure you don't have any conflicts. If you do, it is possible to do the course with our regular section in Weeks 2,3,10,11 instead of the evenings in Weeks 8-11. We will not be holding any other make-ups if you have to miss one of the sessions due to midterms, etc. So look carefully at your schedule and see if you need to do a make-up in Week 2 or 3 of term.

Transfer and upper-year students should consult the APSC100 transfer and upper-year student webpage to inform themselves and verify eligibility. Not all students are eligible. You must have approval to register and participate in this Modified Module.

To participate, you need to be registered in APSC 100. (Do this at the Faculty office in the ILC- Rm. 200)
